Directions/Parking

The Council on Crime and Justice is located in the A.Y. McDonald MFG Building at 822 South Third Street in Minneapolis, on 3rd Street South just east of Chicago Avenue. 

Free parking is available in the lot on the west side of the building. There are public parking lots on either side of the street and meter parking on the street.

Directions:

From Downtown Minneapolis: Take 4th Street one block past Chicago Avenue (the Metrodome will be to your immediate right) to McGrew Avenue and take a left. Take McGrew to 3rd Street (one way going west). We are the first building on your right. 


From West: Take Hwy. 394 or 94 East. Follow through the Lowry Tunnel to 35W North. Take 3rd St. exit.  Follow 3rd Street toward Downtown. Slow down coming out of the tunnel. We are the 2nd building on your right.


From East:
Take 94 West to the 5th St. exit. Take 5th Street to Chicago then turn right. Take Chicago to 4th Street, turn right and get into the left lane go one block to McGrew Avenue and take a left. Take McGrew to 3rd street (one way going west). We are the first building on your right. 

 

From South:  From 35W South take 3rd Street exit toward downtown. Slow down coming out of the exit tunnel. We are the 2nd building on your right.


From North:
Take 35W South to the Washington Avenue exit. Turn right on Washington. Turn left on Chicago. Take Chicago to 4th Street, turn left and get into the left lane. Go one block to McGrew Avenue and take a left. Take McGrew to 3rd street (one way going west). We are the first building on your right.
